About the GPA Calculator
GPA stands for Grade Point Average. In a credit-weighted GPA, each course grade is converted to a grade-point value and multiplied by that course's credit hours. The weighted points are then divided by total attempted credit hours.
This calculator uses a common 4.0 reference scale. Individual schools can use different grade values, weighting rules, repeat-course policies, pass/fail rules, or honors/AP adjustments, so your official transcript may differ.
