What Is Ad Frequency?
Ad frequency is the average number of times each unique person sees an advertisement during a selected campaign period. It helps marketers understand whether their audience is receiving enough exposure or seeing the same advertisement too frequently.
A frequency of 3.00 means that each reached person saw the advertisement approximately three times on average. Some people may have seen it once, while others may have received more impressions.
For example, a campaign with 300,000 impressions and a reach of 120,000 people has an average ad frequency of 2.50.
