Days Since = End Date − Starting Date
What Is a Days Since Calculator?
A Days Since Calculator finds how much time has passed
between a specific date and another date, usually today.
It provides the difference in total calendar days and can

How Are Days Since a Date Calculated?
The standard calculation finds the difference between the
two calendar dates. For example, the difference between
September 1 and September 11 is 10 days.
Basic formula:
End Date − Start Date = Total Days Since
If the difference is 100 days, the calculator also converts
the result into approximately 14.29 weeks and 0.27 years.
For consistent calendar-day calculations, the tool compares
the dates rather than the current time of day.
Exact Years, Months, and Days Difference
A total-day count and a calendar difference are not the same
type of measurement. Months have different lengths, and leap
years can contain an extra day.
For this reason, the calculator provides an exact calendar
breakdown separately from approximate decimal months and years.
Example format:
2 years, 4 months, 12 days
This is easier to read when you want a calendar-based
description of the time between two dates.
Calendar Days vs Business Days
Calendar days include all seven days of the week. The
business-day result in this calculator counts Monday through
Friday and excludes Saturday and Sunday.
Public holidays are not automatically removed because holiday
schedules vary by country, region, organization, and year.
Important:
The business-day result should be treated as a weekday count,
not as an official holiday-adjusted working-day calendar.
