How Are Days Until a Date Calculated?
The calculation compares two calendar dates and measures
the number of days separating them. The standard result does
not count the starting date as an additional elapsed day.
Example:

Target: October 15
October 15 − October 10 = 5 days

additional day is added to the displayed inclusive count.
Calendar Days vs Business Days Until a Date
Calendar days include every day of the week. The business-day
result counts weekdays from Monday through Friday and excludes
Saturday and Sunday.
Public holidays are not automatically excluded because
