What Is a Lo Shu Grid Calculator?

A Lo Shu Grid Calculator is a numerology tool that arranges the digits from a person's date of birth inside a fixed three-by-three number grid. The traditional arrangement is 4, 9 and 2 in the first row; 3, 5 and 7 in the second row; and 8, 1 and 6 in the final row.

Every non-zero digit in the birth date is placed in its matching position. A number is repeated inside the cell when it occurs more than once, while an empty cell is considered a missing number. Numerology practitioners interpret these patterns as symbolic indications of tendencies, strengths and areas for personal growth.

Driver Number and Destiny Number

The Driver Number, sometimes called the Psychic Number, is calculated from the day of birth. For example, a person born on the 24th has a Driver Number of 6 because 2 + 4 = 6.

The Destiny Number is calculated by adding all the digits in the complete date of birth and reducing the result to a single digit. For example, the digits are repeatedly added until a number from 1 to 9 remains.

Different numerology systems follow different rules regarding whether Driver and Destiny numbers should be added to the original birth-date grid. This calculator gives you the option to include or exclude them.
