PayPal currently lists PayPal Checkout, Guest Checkout, Pay with Venmo, and most other commercial transactions at 3.49% plus the fixed fee for the currency received.
The fixed fee depends on the payment product and currency received. For standard US commercial transactions received in USD, the current fixed fee is $0.49. QR and advanced-card products use different fixed-fee schedules.
For US commercial transactions, PayPal currently adds 1.50% when the payment is international. A currency-conversion spread may also apply when PayPal converts the funds.
PayPal's US merchant fee page currently lists a 4% spread for certain payments or transfers involving another currency and 3% for other conversions, unless another amount is disclosed during the transaction.
