Wheel Offset Calculation Formulas

Effective Offset = New Offset − Spacer Thickness

Inner Position = Wheel Width ÷ 2 + Offset

Outer Position = Wheel Width ÷ 2 − Offset

Backspacing = Wheel Width ÷ 2 + Offset

Wheel width is converted from inches to millimeters before calculating its inner and outer positions. One inch equals 25.4 millimeters.

Consider replacing an 8-inch-wide ET35 wheel with a 9-inch-wide ET30 wheel without using a spacer.
